On Friday,
October 20 Assemblyman Kean presented Don Walsh of Spring
Lake Heights with a Joint Legislative Resolution honoring
him for his swim around the Isle of Jersey. Mr. Walsh
completed the 41.5 mile swim to raise money for the Naval
Special Warfare Foundation.

On Tuesday, October 3,
Assemblyman Kean announced at a series of press conferences
that he is introducing legislation to repeal the sales tax
on health club memberships. Assemblyman Kean was joined by
health club owners and personal trainers who are also
opposed to the tax and believe that it could cause some gym
patrons to stop exercising and dissuade others who are
interested in joining a health club.

sales tax on health club memberships.
