On Veterans Day,
Assemblyman Sean Kean presented residents of Asbury Towers,
a senior community, with two new flags to fly outside their
building. Kean donated an American flag and a New
Jersey flag, both of which were flown over the State House
in Trenton, NJ.

invited to be a guest speaker in Ms. Nacarlo's American
Government class which is an elective for junior and senior
students at Wall High School. Asm. Kean focused on current
issues such as the proposal to ban smoking in bars, eminent
domain, and the upcoming election.

Assemblyman Sean Kean announcing that he will support an
effort to create a legal fund that will raise the money
necessary to sue state officials for the politicization of
the homeland security grant program as well as other grant
programs.
Assemblyman Kean was joined at the news conference in Asbury
Park by local firefighters, police and other first
responders who were not awarded homeland security grants and
are concerned about the politicalization of the grant
program.
